When I built the stairway to the basement this took away the closet for my back upstairs bedroom. In order for it to be a functional bedroom it needs a closet. So I had carpenter Keith build one that sticks out from the wall; the previous closet was behind the wall. Then I painted it up.

We took one of these out to make a bedroom into an office. But then, we weren’t thinking about resale, so it does not matter that we cant call it a bedroom anymore.

What a wonderful idea, Chris. The bedroom now has a closet and it takes up minimal floor space. Very neat.

I love it! More closet space for a house that has very little. It looks like it was always there. I can’t wait to come home!
